1. Information We Collect

When you create a CoreUncap account or use our services, we collect the following information:

• Account data: email address, full name, hashed password.
• Performance telemetry: CPU temperature, CPU/GPU usage, clock frequencies, RAM usage, and thermal throttle events. This data is transmitted from the desktop app to our cloud to power the AI prediction engine.
• Device identifiers: A unique device ID generated on first launch. No hardware serial numbers are collected.
• Payment data: Razorpay handles all payment processing. CoreUncap never stores card numbers or banking details. We only receive a payment confirmation and the user's email from Razorpay.
• Usage metadata: Session durations, subscription tier, and AI hours consumed.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To power the AI thermal optimization engine in real-time.
• To manage your subscription, enforce usage limits, and process payments.
• To send transactional emails (password reset codes, subscription confirmations).
• To improve our prediction models using aggregated, anonymized telemetry.
• To detect abuse, unauthorized access, and subscription fraud.

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure located in the US East region. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plaintext. All communication between the desktop app, website, and backend uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only with:

• Razorpay — for payment processing.
• AWS — for cloud hosting and database services.
• Law enforcement, only when legally required.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of your personal data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Opt out of non-essential communications.

6. Telemetry and the Desktop App

The CoreUncap desktop application reads CPU and GPU sensor data locally and transmits it to our secure cloud servers for AI processing. This telemetry is used exclusively to calculate optimal performance parameters. No keystrokes, screen content, file names, or personal documents are ever accessed or transmitted.

7. Cookies

The CoreUncap website uses browser local storage to maintain your login session. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of CoreUncap after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
